About that discount
Steam labelled it an introductory offer ending 18 August, and it ended on schedule. We are noting it here rather than deleting it because this page carried the $ 14.99 figure in the present tense for several days after it stopped being true, and a reader who saw it then deserves to know what changed.
Whether it comes back is not something anyone can tell you honestly today. Steam titles usually return to sale, but no date has been announced and any site printing one is guessing. The store page is the only thing that knows.
Everyone needs a copy
There is no shared licence, guest pass or friend pass. A group of four needs four copies. The one thing crossplay buys you is freedom of platform: one person can claim it on PS Plus, another can buy it on Steam, a third on Switch 2, and you all end up in the same session.
